The NorcalMLK Foundation’s International Colloquium Series will celebrate theology and jazz at Emmanuel Episcopal Church in Geneva, Switzerland, with a apecial Jazz Vespers service, featuring ICS scholars and guest jazz artists, Uwe Steinmetz, Calen Gayle, and other musicians. University of Geneva (UNIGE) with an inspiring lecture and colloquium event.

Held as part of the 2026 International Colloquium Series in Geneva, Switzerland, the service features the interpretive brilliance of saxophonist Uwe Steinmetz, flautist Calen Gayle and a host of musicians, along with an interpretive message from the Rev. Valerie Miles-Tribble. This is jazz as sacred witness — sound as sermon, spirit, and social critique.

The program is sponsored by the NorcalMLK Foundation, in partnership with the Faculty of Theology of the University of Geneva, led by Dr. Christophe Chalamet, L'Institut romand de systématique et d’éthique at the University of Geneva, and Emmanuel Episcopal Church of Geneva.
