The NorcalMLK Foundation’s International Colloquium Series visits The Catholic University of Lyon (UCLy) as part of our ICS2026-Europe Series.
At UCLy, Dr. Raymond Carr, the Rev. Dr. Valerie Miles-Tribble, and Dr. Aaron Grizzell bring together Black Liberation Theology, Systematic Theology, Womanist thought, and Black Religious History together in an engaging colloquium at one of France's premier Catholic universities.
Hosted by Dr. Estelle M. Sogbou, UCLy professor and director of L'Institute de Théologie des Dombes, the colloquium offers attendees and participants a glimpse of the varied aspects of Black religious experience from which to understand ideas of global solidarity and ethical community.
