The 2025 SIDGE Session - Connecting AI to your Organization is an exciting free session for learning the latest best-practices in integrating an AI strategic plan into your organization. Education institutions, community-base non-profits, arts organizations, faith-based enterprises, civic groups, and small businesses are all encouraged to attend this specially designed session to help you navigate the world of generative technology and AI.

Presented in partnership with the Corporation for Public Interest Technology (CPIT), a Washington D.C. based public benefit corporation. This session is designed to introduce you to entry-points into the intricate world of AI ethics and governance. From research and evaluation into generative technology and AI to implementation of a strategy, this session is a must for any organization looking to learn more about and to take advantage of new technologies in an organizationally responsible way.

The session will be led by, Dr. Sylvester Johnson, co-counder and CEO of CPIT. Dr. Johnson leads a team of AI, ethics, and policy professionals that work to influence a future in which technology serves humanity by conducting risk evaluations and involving stakeholders throughout the process. Dr. Johnson is also Professor of Black Studies at Northwestern University, with a focus on race, technology, and religion.
