How do we understand the role of diversity in today's environment?

The NorcalMLK Foundation, in partnership with the Bar Association of San Francisco and its Justice &s; Diversity Center (JDC), invites the community to a special immigration workshop during the MLK2026 Celebration. This session will explore the legal rights and protections available to immigrants, drawing on the expertise of JDC’s Immigrant Legal Defense Program, which works to increase access to justice for low-income and unrepresented immigrants facing deportation and immigration court proceedings. Attendees — including individuals, families, advocates, nonprofits, and small business owners — will gain practical insights into legal processes, due process rights, and key resources. Join experienced attorneys for an informed discussion designed to empower and support members of our diverse Bay Area community.
