The MLK2026 Music Festival celebrates its fourteenth year, featuring award-winning artists and performers on the main stage at San Francisco's Yerba Buena Gardens. This year's music festival is dedicated to the life of long-time Yerba Buena Gardens Festival producer, Marcelo Aviles, who passed away January 9th.
The NorcalMLK Foundation's MLK Music Festival is a spectacular celebration of artistry, culture, and unity that takes center stage during our annual MLK Celebrations. In partnership with Purple Cherry Productions, this festival brings Grammy-winning and acclaimed artists to the iconic Esplanade Stage at San Francisco's Yerba Buena Gardens.
With the powerful medium of music, this festival pays tribute to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s enduring legacy, invoking the spirit of peace, love, and social justice that defined his work. Attendees are treated to mesmerizing performances that traverse various genres, inspiring a sense of unity and hope.
The MLK Music Festival not only offers world-class entertainment but also serves as a vibrant space for the community to come together, celebrating the diversity that enriches our society. It's a momentous event where the universal language of music echoes Dr. King's dream of a harmonious world, while reinforcing our commitment to the ongoing pursuit of civil rights and equality.
