In the third virtual session’s theme, “Fear: The Church in Black Lives Matter Times,”  host Aaron Grizzell welcomes featured guest Rev. Dr. Valerie Miles-Tribble, Ph.D. D.Min., professor of ministerial leadership and practical theology at the Graduate Theological Union and the Berkeley School of Theology. Dr. Miles-Tribble is also interim sr. minister at Faith Presbyterian Church in North Oakland. Her latest book, Change Agent Church in Black Lives Matter Times: Urgency for Action (Lanham, MD: Rowman & Littlefield), "examines tensions in ecclesiology and public theology, focusing on theoethical dilemmas that complicate churches’ public justice witness as prophetic change agents."
