The annual Howard Thurman Homily is the King & Faith Series' keynote address.
It is a partnership between the NorcalMLK Foundation and the Church for the Fellowship of All Peoples in San Francisco. The Howard Thurman Homily takes place annually on the Sunday before the Martin Luther King, Jr. federal holiday at the Church for the Fellowship of All Peoples in San Francisco.
The 2023 Howard Thurman Homily will feature a special address by Dr. Tracey E. Hucks, the Victor S. Thomas Professor of Africana Religious Studies at Harve Divinity School and the Suzanne Young Murray Professor at the Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study. Dr. Joi Carr, award-winning recording artist, producer, and Professor of English & Film and Film Program Director at Pepperdine University's Seaver College.
