The NorcalMLK Foundation's Aaron Grizzell explores the foundation's 2021 theme, Justice and Hope,
with two influential theologians and faith leaders, The Rev. Dr. Valerie Miles-Tribble and the Rev. Dr. Dorsey Odell Blake.
Dr. Miles-Tribble is associate professor of Ministerial Leadership and Practical Theology at Berkeley Theological Seminary. She also serves as senior minister at Faith Presbyterian Church in Oakland, California. Her recent book, Change Agent Church in Black Livers Matter Times: Urgency for Action, examines tensions in ecclesiology and public theology, focusing on theoethical dilemmas that complicate churches' public justice witness as prophetic change agents1.
Dr. Blake serves as sr. minister at the historic Church for the Fellowship of All Peoples in San Francisco, California, and he is faculty associate of Transformative Leadership at the Pacific School of Religion in Berkeley, California.
